Georgina Higgins

Company Founder


Georgina is a filmmaker with five years of on set experience within the film business. Georgina worked her way up from the classic starting ground up as a floor runner and now holds the position of a Script Supervisor, this job has given her an invaluable insight into the filmmaking business. She continues to write and maintains her passion in writing and directing.

Georgina grew up in Sheffield where her love for media started at BBC Radio Sheffield creating short documentaries including interviews with David Blunkett. She then went into film production and worked at Picture Palace Productions under the wing of Academy Award winning Producer Alex Usborne. She later went onto receive a bachelor’s degree from Bournemouth University’s prestigious Media School.

Georgina has worked on films such as The Arbor; Payback Season; Comedown; The Fast and The Furious 6; The Harry Hill Movie and many more, as well as dozens of short films that have been selected and screened at festivals around the world.

Her most recent short film Drive-Thru (writer/director) is currently surfing the 2013 festival circuit. She is now writing a short film about epilepsy titled Going The Distance.
